Game "Night"
The first day back after school vacation isn't usually something to celebrate. But, that's where this year will be different! On Tuesday, January 3 at 4:30pm the Library Activity Room will be dedicated solely to games. From board games to card games, RPGs to video games, this is the place to be.
Stop by the library after school for snacks and games or just to hang out.

Bartimaeus Trilogy
Attention all Bartimaeus Trilogy fans.....the third book in the series, Ptolemy's Gate, is in my office. Place your hold now to be one of the first to read it!
Not familiar with the Bartimaeus Trilogy? The other two books are The Amulet of Samarkand and The Golem's Eye. I highly recommend the series!

Next YAB Meeting
Our last YAB meeting of 2005 is next Tuesday, December 20 at 4:30pm in the Library Activity Room. Since it's such a momentous occasion, we'll be be celebrating in style. I've heard through the grapevine that there's awesome food on the menu. Plus, we'll be decorating our tables for the Teen Corner.
So, stop by next week....for the food, for the craft or just to hang out. Everyone is welcome!

Looking for something to do?
There's a new group in North Reading advocating for teens called North Reading Youth Services. Ultimately they'd like to have a Youth Center in North Reading (wouldn't that be awesome?). In the mean time they want to coordinate all the events and opportunities open to teens in town. They've started a website called www.antiboredomleague.com. You can access a calendar on the site to find out what's going on in town.
Pass along this info - the more people who use the calendar, the better it will be!
