Teen Summer Reading Program

It's June! And, you know what that means....well, besides getting out of school. It's Summer Reading Time! Don't think that you're too old to participate in library summer programs. We have a great Teen Program planned for the summer - Teen Stuff @ Flint Memorial Library. It's similar to last year's program with more teen events and (hopefully) a bigger auction.

Here's how it works:
Starting June 22, come to the library to get your Teen Stuff packet.
There are three ways to earn Flint Bucks:
1. Read (anything...books, magazines, blogs, newspapers, comics, cereal boxes, etc.); 1 hour = $100
2. Visit the library; 1 visit = $200 (one visit per day, up to 6 visits)
3. Write book reviews; 1 review = $300

The more money you get, the better chances you have of getting cool prizes at the Teen Auction on Thursday, August 17.

Here are some of the events for teens:
Movies! (like Pirates of the Caribbean and Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
DDR!
A Murder Mystery night!
Karaoke!
Crafts!

So, come sign up and get Teen Stuff!
